Building Charter Public Schools and Extraordinary Education
We support parents and communities in creating accredited schools where children excel.
The Romine Group supports communities in developing schools that excel in the basics, plus arts education, technology education, leadership education, etc.
The Romine Group (TRG) was the State of Michigan’s first charter school management company to receive accreditation.
Not Cookie-Cutter
TRG does not believe in ‘cookie-cutter’ education. Each of its schools is independently and locally operated, designed to meet the unique needs of its community. Each emphasizes mastery of core subjects, while also adopting a focus on arts, technology, or leadership, for example.
Continual Improvement
All schools actively pursue excellence. Their educators collaborate routinely to identify and implement best practices that improve the curriculum and student experience.
Responding to Requests Nationwide
TRG’s roots are in Michigan, where John Romine first opened a charter school in 1996. More than two dozen schools later, TRG is growing nationwide in response to inquiries from educators, parents and community leaders across the country.
Accredited
The Romine Group is accredited through AdvancED, the nation’s educational accrediting body. This achievement endorses each school and the group’s systemwide operations.
“There’s an amazing passion to give children more,” TRG President & CEO Paul Romine said. “Parents, educators and community leaders want to give children greater skills, experiences, and more of the traits needed in the world. They ask us for help bringing their schools to life.”
